Since Madeline has been walking our life has been an endless game of follow the leader. Madeline is quite the little explorer. Our four walks a day (yes, four) include picking up every rock, stick, and leaf along our path. Madeline's accessory of choice is a stick; she is building quite the collection outside our door.
Follow the leader walks also include waving at every student on their way to/from class and handing out leaves to those she can catch up to. And trying to pick all the bright orange berries from off the bush before I catch her. (why do those things have to be so appealing to my child....)

thank you nice college students for waving at my little adventurer and accepting her little gifts of nature. and sorry to the neighbor with the four beautiful pumpkins that Madeline runs to touch four + times a day.
